CULTURAL EXCHANGE IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA (High School)
Studying abroad as an exchange student is the dream of many young Brazilians. And this is easier to happen than it seems.
In the United States, Traducenter partners with NWSE - Northwest Student Exchange, with headquarters in Seattle, Washington State, in the region called Pacific Northwest. NWSE is one of the most famous exchange programs in the United States, given its constant monitoring of the exchange students and their natural and host families. In addition to the semester and annual academic programs, NWSE also offers exchange programs during the summer holidays.
In Canada, the partnership was signed directly with the Red Deer Public Schools district, which includes three high schools (Gateway Christian, Hunting Hills and Lindsay Thurber). Red Deer is the third most populous city in the state of Alberta, after Calgary and Edmonton. It is located at the midpoint of the Calgary-Edmonton Corridor and is surrounded by Red Deer County. RDPS is the eighth largest jurisdiction in the province of Alberta and offers a broad range of quality programs at all schools in the district.
The documentation required for enrollment in schools in both countries is simple. The difference lies in the fact that American schools require all documentation translated into English, while in Canadian schools part of the documentation can be delivered in the native language of the student.
In both countries the cost is extremely attractive. Studying 1 year or 1 semester in the US or Canada can be less expensive than keeping a student in Brazil in a private school, fitness center, schools of language and music, in short, a complete and multidisciplinary education.
